17th January 2024 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: N Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 2 Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy and cold Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wednesday 17th January - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy and cold. Another cold day where it struggled to get above freezing but cloudy today which made it feel worse but at least the wind was light. Quick exercises before heading for a filling at the dentist in Walton near Felixstowe, their service is faultless too. Then I headed to the two Trimley Churches to take a few pics of the snowdrops again to try and brighten the day. I returned home via Gulpher Road stopping to take some icy pics in a field, a quick stop at Felixstowe Ferry but not much happening there so home. Then after lunch Mag and I went for our daily walk as the temperature had climbed a fraction. Down to the pier and along the prom, just past the Spa we turned up the steps, skirted the town and home for a warming cuppa and the last of the Christmas chocolate biscuits :) Photo Album here |
